Redesign Project: A Christmas Carol

Took a character design class this term at Concept Design Academy, and the semester-long project was to redesign several characters from the 1970's Scrooge movie starring Albert Finney.  These are pages from the final presentation.

The restrictions were that 1) Scrooge has to be a woman and 2) One of the ghosts have to be an animal.  The final design could use more tweaking after the feedback I received, but overall a fun project!

I really hope they don't ban me from participating in future events.

I've never been happy with how I look, and so I thought I'd redesign myself and live vicariously through my drawing.

Ah, much better.

Just playing with various body shapes. Trying to go for a more cartooney feel.
